In association with Shirley police, and on an experimental basis, The Alarming Company has been supplying temporary alarms linked to electronic pagers, which can be loaned out to members of the Good Neighbour Scheme if they expect to be away from home.
Designated members of the scheme are nominated to react promptly when paged by the equipment.
